Dear Readers;

There is such empowerment in a naming ,no matter if its a who or a what , passed on or alive. These past two weeks have been empowering times here at Casa Sanctuary. I am grateful for the opportunity as Artist In Residence to create work that has meaning to me.

It was a large creative output of three panels, Today I complete the last panel which is the Underground Railroad…. The three panels are a matter of perspective mine and yours

In the research phase, I knew the panels names before the actual content,it was a backwards forward motion. Everyday I showed up in front of those panels and did their bidding. With purpose,will,humility and art in my heart “Black Outsider” 2020 has come into its being. Say Their Names……………

Tomorrow later in the day I hope to reveal these completed panels. ”Black Outsider’ will be on display at the Fredericton Region Museum as of next week.
