The wheel has turned to Spring and signs of life are showing up, However this spring season the temperatures have been unseasonably cold. The spring cleaning bug hit me hard as I cleared ,tossed and donated things that no longer served a purpose. It’s been said to bring in the new clear space.

As a assemblage artist, my art materials are  many diversified bits and pieces that over time accumulated and runneth over in my present space. The clearing is something that needs to be done once per year. Spring happens to be an ideal time as Mother Nature is awakening from a season of hibernation. Gardening season is upon us as the decisions begin with what will I plant,nurture and grow this year.

My intention is to have an adequate outdoor grow space. Which has not been my reality for five years residing in a basement apartment without a patio or balcony. This year I am creating an indoor herb garden with a grow light and my window sills that luckily have large windows streaming in natural light.

There are times ya just gotta make do ,being open to what is and embrace a lot of flexibility. This year I will plant seeds of possibilities ,dreams, wishes and home.
