Hi there My name is Rhonda and I will be your creative guide on this making journey of yours. Life for me is all about art in all its diverse forms .Facilitating has been a large part of my life that had its humble beginnings from many moons ago. Being deeply passionate about the arts has led me to sharing with others in the form of workshops ,art parties, private sessions, and creative contract work.
My main creative philosophy is “No Art Experience Necessary” Please bring an open attitude upon entering the studio and the rest will take care of itself. My approach is in encouraging the participants to embrace the process and not the outcome. Letting go of expectations and perfectionism unfolds amazing process inside and out.
Keeping my workshops small allow me to spend 1:1 time with each maker. Although samples of my previous works are presented, this gives a visual example of the process steps. We all have stories to tell and this is celebrated with each piece that unfolds throughout a workshop, art party and private session.
There is a balance between working with others and creating my own projects, which does limit the number of workshops/art parties/private sessions offered throughout the year. My passion project created in 2022 is Altar Talk (check out workshops on my website for more information)
The biggest aspect of working with me at Casa Sanctuary Art House is play, as adults we lose our playful selves as responsibility rules in our lives. So Come and Play with us. See you Soon!!!!
