My Art has traveled many miles normally in packing boxes making its way to the next household to be unpacked and displayed. No I am not in the military being relocated, My life is independently nomadic exploring here and there where I feel called to.
The Art Travels ,unfolding in new spaces viewed by those who cross my home threshold.
This third year as Artist In Residence at the Fredericton Region Museum. A proposal was offered up for the artwork Mind,Body, Spirit Of The Enslaved that it would travel the roads of New Brunswick showing up in centers, galleries and museums.
This new work created in August 2020 would be viewed by so many more than in my personal spaces.
As an artist there are transformations of all kinds for myself and the work I create….How interesting that Mind, Body, Spirit Of The Enslaved has evolved to a traveling art exhibit with a nomadic sense to it.
My Art will continue to journey in whatever way it needs to, whether it be an idea wanting/waiting to be birthed or actual visual pieces that one can view.
